Lotus Training Scheme

Things you need to know ...

1. The scheme runs over two years, which comprises of six 4-monthly placements

2. The aim of the scheme is to provide as many wide/diverse experiences over the 2-year period, prior to moving into permanent positions.

3. The scheme is driven by business needs, excellent opportunities are provided across all disciplines on the business.

4. The scheme is accredited by IMechE. Those with an Engineering Degree will be enrolled onto the MPDS scheme and will work towards becoming chartered.

5. Non-engineering disciplines may have the opportunity to work towards becoming chartered with an equivalent Institution. (i.e. Management/Marketing/Purchasing, etc.)

6. Those with an Engineering Degree qualification will work in Powertrain/Vehicle/Non-engineering placements in Year One. Non-engineers will work in appropriate business-related areas across the group.

7. Placements/rotations are determined between the business and HR and will change in line with business demands.

8. You will have a mentor and buddy allocated to you on arrival to the business.

9. Mentors will support you throughout your training period.
