Lotus Training Scheme - Pre-Requisites
PRE-REQUISITES FOR TRAINING SCHEME
Lotus requires the following:-
- A willingness to work at any Lotus site
- Entitlement to work in the UK
- Actual/predicted degree result 2:1 or above
- Degree disciplines required include Mechanical/Automotive Engineering for Engineering roles and Business/Finance, Marketing/Media or Supply Chain for general business roles.
- European languages are desirable but are not an essential requirement.
- Be prepared to join a rotation scheme which cover placements across the whole business.

The Characteristics of the Training Scheme
- Generic training programme
- Runs over 2 years
- Currently 39 placement opportunities across the business
- Each placement is of 4 months duration
- Year one placements include a role within Powertrain, Vehicle and a non-engineering area of the business
- You will have a mentor/career manager
- The scheme is accredited by ImechE
- Applications are accepted from non-engineering graduates
The Selection Process
- Submit online application form
- Short-listed for telephone interviews
- Short-listed for Assessment Centre
- Assessment Centre usually held between February/March each year
- Offer made to successful candidates
